Utah Amateur Radio Club (UARC)

The Utah Amateur Radio Club (UARC) is the oldest and largest amateur radio club in Utah.  Established in 1927, UARC has been a cornerstone of the ham radio community in Utah for nearly a century. The club's call sign, W7SP, honors Leonard (Zim) Zimmerman, a pioneering member of the club. UARC offers a wide range of activities, including Field Day, an annual Steak Fry, field trips, homebrew nights, and a Winter Field Day. The club also has a ham hotline that you can call for questions. UARC's website provides information about the club's history, activities, and resources, as well as answers to frequently asked questions about amateur radio in Utah.

Ogden Amateur Radio Club (OARC)

The Ogden Amateur Radio Club (OARC) is another active club in northern Utah. It holds the call sign W7SU. OARC is dedicated to attracting new hams and providing educational opportunities. They offer various activities, including licensing classes, a "YL" (Ladies Only) Net, which meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM on the 448.600 MHz repeater, and a 10 Meter Net. Cache Valley Amateur Radio Club (BARC)

The Bridgerland Amateur Radio Club (BARC) is a radio club in Northern Utah. The club meets on the third Saturday of every month at 10:00 AM at the Cache County Sheriff’s Office. The club also hosts an Elmer night on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM.

Salt Lake County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (SLCOARES)

The Salt Lake County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (SLCOARES) provides emergency communications support for Salt Lake County. They hold a weekly net on Wednesdays at 8:30 PM on the 146.70 MHz repeater. SLCOARES also participates in various public service events, such as parades and races.

Salt Lake Crossroads Amateur Radio Club (K7XRD)

The Salt Lake Crossroads Amateur Radio Club serves as auxiliary communication for the Department of Public Safety for Salt Lake City but we are also able to assist other municipalities, clubs or organizations along the Wasatch Front with amateur radio operator support. We have two repeaters, the frequencies are listed above, both are located on Ensign Peak.

Oak Hill Amateur Radio Club (K7TDR Former Member)

The Oak Hill Amateur Radio Club (N5OAK) is a relatively young ham radio club serving the Austin, Texas area.  They're known for maintaining and promoting the use of their Yaesu DR-1X System Fusion repeater, which operates in analog mode and provides coverage for a wide area around Austin.  The club hosts a weekly on-air net, providing a social gathering point for local hams.  While a newer club, they are actively involved in the Austin amateur radio community hosting fox hunts, simplex nets, and various other events.
